22.10.2026 - PHP2shell security notice
In reaction to recent media coverage of PHP2shell, we would like to clarify the potential impact on IsarFlow.
The legacy IsarFlow UI (version 4.8) uses PHP and may still be accessible in some installations. Exploiting this vulnerability requires an attacker to have access to the IsarFlow environment, either by logging in through the UI or via the CLI. The IsarFlow reverse proxy, introduced in version 5.26, and the login page do not use PHP or expose PHP functionality.
We currently assess the risk to IsarFlow installations as low. If the IsarFlow UI 4.8 is not required, it can be disabled to eliminate the attack vector associated with this component. We are also implementing the risk mitigation measures recommended by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
12.06.2026 - IsarFlow is Red Hat OpenShift certified
We are delighted to announce that IsarFlow has achieved the "Certified by Red Hat and Partner Validated" certification for Red Hat OpenShift. This allows our customers and partners to reliably run IsarFlow as a standalone application on Red Hat OpenShift virtualization as a new deployment option. In an effort to provide additional deployment possibilities and greater flexibility and reliability, we have obtained this certification as it complements our IsarFlow deployments on appliances or self-managed Red Hat/SLES installations on bare metal, VMware or EC2 instances.
